Yeast : Yeast infections are more common in pregnancy as the ph level (acid/base level) in the vagina is different. This can make the environment more hospitable to yeast (fungus). In pregnancy, women need longer antifungal treatment in order to eradicate the infection or it tends to come right back. Avoiding too many baths, douching, and antibiotics can decrease the risk of yeast infections.

Yes: Frequent yeast infections may indicate you're not completely treating the current infection. They are more frequent if you have diabetes. Also, your sex partner needs to be treated at the same time or you may "ping-pong" the infection back and forth.
