How long will it take me to recover from arthroscopic acl reconstruction?

It depends.: Your knee will never be the same, but you will be up and moving around right away. You will follow a rehab protocol for the first few months, but it will be 6 months before you are back to competitive sports and a year before you really feel like you're over your surgery.

Usually 6 months: Acl rehab is usually criteria-based. Early rehab allows for healing of the graft and focuses on range of motion, with later rehab focusing on strength and functional activities. Once you meet one benchmark you typically advance to the next.
