Pulpitis causes....: Pulpitis is an inflammation of the dental pulp that is mainly caused by caries, or tooth decay. Caries is a lesion of the tooth enamel caused by acid erosion of the tooth's surface. The acids are produced by bacterial plaque.
If the decay is deep, it can irritate the pulp and allow bacteria to penetrate it. The harmful bacterial action can increase pressure within the tissues. This rise in tissue.

Irritation: Pulpitis is irritation to the pulp or inner-most, living part of the tooth which contains nerves and blood vessels. It is caused by deep decay, chronic injury to the tooth such as multiple fillings or a crown prep, excessive heat, physical injury to the tooth, and exposure of the pulp to the outside environment. Mild pulpitis might go away on its own. If it doesn't the tooth will require an rct.
