Scar Cream: There are a number of topical treatments for treating scars. In the early post op period, antibiotic ointments are used. When the scars are healed after 10-14 days, silicone based topicals can be used. Consult your local plastic surgeon for guidance. Early treatment can prevent needing more invasive treatments later on.
