See dentist: Your daughter needs to be seen by a dentist or oral surgeon who treats tmj/tmd patients. Depending on other symptoms and history she will need to be on anti-inflammatory meds, steroids, a bite splint and possibly surgery. This all depends on the history and severity of the problem.
