Ocular migraine: Non-cephalgic migraine are migraine events without throbbing head pain. This is more common than thought because patients and doctors do not think about it. I suspect that your symptoms fit this entity. In absence of eye defect, this sounds occipital brain and migraine related. Use Aspirin and stress reduction. Look for causes suc as illness, hormones, new meds, allergies, blood pressure, etc.

See a retina special: If there is no retinal pathology, it may be an ocular migraine. Still, it may be best to see a retina specialist for a second opinion to be sure.
