Gas may result from…: Going to bed too soon after eating, eating gas-forming foods (beans, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, cucumbers, melon; dairy products if you have lactose intolerance). Wait at least an hour before bed. Beano, lactaid can help prevent gas build-up; simethicone can help break up gas once formed. If acid reflux, too, antacids, h2 blockers like zantac, (ranitidine) or ppis like Prilosec can help.
