Mouthwash: Many mouthwashes contain alcohol , some up to 25 %, which can feel like it is burning your mouth. There are products without alcohol , one brand is called biotene.

Alcohol free: Use a mouthwash that does not contain alcohol, listerine makes a mouthwash like this- the purple kind does not contain alcohol.
