It is possible!: Usually teeth sensitivity occurs due to exposure of dentin and does not cause intense jaw pain directly. It is possible that due to sensitivity, the jaw muscles tighten up and cause pain. Also, if the tooth is infected, it could cause jaw pain too. Consult your dentist right away.

Yes, it can: Sensitivity can be coming from gum recession, a cavity, a fractured tooth, and even from a non-vital tooth (sensitivity to pressure, not temperature). See your dentist to determine the cause.

Bruxism? TMD?: Tooth sensitivity and intense jaw pain occurring together suggest bruxism, clenching and grinding of the teeth. Consider an evaluation by an oral surgeon. If he diagnoses bruxism, He may refer you to a TMJ expert.
