No treatment: Situs inversus is merely a mirror image relationship of internal organs. It occurs about 1:8000 people. It is normally asymptomatic. But doctors need to be made aware of it in case of surgery or to avoid confusion when illness does arise. It does not need treatment.

Depends: There are two basic mirror image possibilities in situs inversus. One has more potential for associated internal organ abnormalities (formation, position) than the other. There is no specific treatment, just a need for awareness and an exploration of whatever internal structures are different. For most, it is just a medical curiosity. For some it may require extra monitoring.
