8 to 12 weeks: A standard fractured bone that is in place without major displacement takes 8 to 12 weeks to heal in a healthy person with proper immobilization. Smoking, diabetes, osteoporosis, and other chronic conditions can prolong or delay this healing. Premature mobilization or weight bearing on the extremity could also cause delayed or non healing.

Weeks to months: The healing time of fractures in ribs and other bones depends on displacement of fracture fragments. If no displacement fracture usually heals the quickest. Rib fractures if not displaced are one of fastest healing fractures. Hairline fracture is nondisplaced fracture.Healing begins in 10 days and usually compete by couple months.

4-6 weeks: Most hairline fractures heal rather quickly. That said, some fractures seem to take their time and other still will not heal without some "help". Most toe fractures that are not displaced will heal uneventfully, and within 4-6 weeks.
