Yes: Podiatrists can treat any type of ulcer of the foot and ankle. Even the leg, up to the knee. We use all types of treatments depending on the type of ulcer. Wound care centers are also available these days at most major hospitals where a team of dr.S, including podiatrists will treat these ulcers.
