Could be normal: Anyone over 35 years old with irregular bleeding should see a physician and have a biopsy. I presume this is a new problem for you. If this has been your pattern, you still may want to see your physician and see what can be done to make your bleeding more manageablle. You may have a polyp or fibroids. If you may be pregnant and having problems. Cycles do change as you get older, but see a gyn.
