Your response: Tbis does not sound typical and you may want to see your physician for a complete history, physical and laboratory evaluation. If you are a smoker, stop. If you are particularly pale protect from the sun consider silicone gel once healed.

Hyper pigmented scar: It is normal for scars to pigment red to purple during healing. This is also likely related to your ethnicity. Time, scar massage, and sun protection will help.
