If you are using an oral contraceptive that contains an estrogen and a progestin, then it is likely still effective and you have little to worry about. However, if you are using a pill that contains only a progestin, then it is possible for you to get pregnant this cycle.

Not likely : Missing one pill for just a few hours as you mention is very unlikely to decrease its effectiveness.
