Cause dependent : It depends on the cause. In cases of hormonal abnormalities, hormone replacement may be helpful. In cases where sperm counts cannot be improved, insemination or in vitro fertilization may be utilized.

Meds, iui, ivf: Initially a man should have a full evaluation to determine the cause of the infertility, this should include a complete history and physical, usually some labs and a semen analysis. Sometimes additional tests sucha s an ultrasound are also ordered. Treatment depends on the primary problem. Treatment may be medicines, surgery or doing inseminations or in vitro and/or icsi>.
