Who should receive antihypertensive therapy?

High blood pressure: Anti-hypertensive therapy should be started in anyone whose blood pressure is >140/90, unless they are a diabetic or have known heart disease, in which case we want to keep the blood pressure <130/85. Consult with your doctor as he or she may have different parameters for you.
