Training isdifferent: Physiotherapy is the same as physical therapy. A physical therapist goes through training at a specialized school. A physical medicine doctor is an md or do that specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation which is a medical specialty. Physical therapists and physical medicine doctors work very closely to help patients with disabilities and injuries get better.
