A member asked:

What to do to reduce triglycerides? mine was 220 after lunch. should i worry? my a1c was 6.6, take 1000mg metformin a day & want to go down to 5.5.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Diet, exercise: Normal triglycerides is 150 or less-not to worry because you can't get it down with exercise and diet-low in carb including alcohol and dairy products. These would lower your hba1c as well.Be sure to follow up with your doctor closely as instructed.
