Injuries: A physiatrist is a physician that treats orthopedic conditions (bone, muscle, tendon) that does not require surgery. This is usually, but not always, injuries. Physiatrist also specialize in rehabilitation from injuries or other medical conditions.

Many: Physiatrists treat many conditions and all ages. These conditions range from spinal cord injuries, strokes, head injuries, cerebral palsy, amputations, back and neck pain, arthritis of all of the joints. Many do interventions like epidural injections, radiofrequency treatment, Botox injections for neurological conditions. Some specialize in sports medicine or treat musicians and workers with injur.
