Likely yes: All your joints in your body become more limber and flexible secondary to the hormones of pregnancy. In cases of arthritis this may exacerbate the pains you already experience. Also, the medications typically used for arthritis (non-steroidal antiinflammatory medications) are contraindicated in pregnancy. Backpain and pelvic pain are common complaints in pregnancy.
