Consult a derm: I would recommend a consultation with a dermatologist. Most acne improves with the use of a birth control pill. However, symptoms may persist. A dermatologist will be able to evaluate what type of acne you have and if you should try an antibiotic or a retinol in addition to your birth control pill for optimum improvement.
