Strength?: Clean the skin where you are applying it. Check what strength the icy hot ointment, cream or patch has (this is the % or strengh). Try it on in a small surface first to check for the effect. If it does not help try stronger %. Read the manufacturer recommendations. If it burns too much...Wipe it out.

See below : Is this for an acute or chronic injury what body part question is very vague but in general , stretch . Wash your hands before and after applying . Use as prescribed if no improvement 1 week seek medical attention.
