Sometimes: Sometimes people have spotting at off times. If this is a one time problem it usually resolves on its own. If it is recurrent problem with multiple cycles then it is reasonable to get evaluated by an obgyn for infections, polyps, fibroids and other gyn issues. Having your tubes tied should not affect menstrual cycles.
