9 months or more: Depending on your genetics the worst part of redness (hyperemia) in scar healing can be as far as 9 months after wounding. In a year it should be well on its way to settling.

Scars never go away!: But the redness will fade (if kept out of the sun or tanning bed) over 6-12 months, and rarely longer. If the original injury is deep enough to cause a scar, the scar is permanent, but the scar will improve in appearance and red or pink will lighten over time. No treatments will make them disappear, so i hope you are paying for better, not "gone." disappear is a lie!
