Yes: You can start with gentle excercize after 2 weeks and normal rouotine excercize after 6 weeks. It all depends on your recovery from the surgery.

Post op restrictions: Check with your surgeon, who will know best your overall health and can best advice you on this detail. Absent any problems, many carotid patients are back to driving and full activity by 7 to 10 days.
