Whats the lethal dosage for metaxalone?

Unknown: I am not aware of any case reports of deaths from only metaxalone. In general, muscle relaxants like Metaxalone can cause sedation which can, when combined with other medications, result in respiratory depression and death. As with all medications, they should be taken as prescribed and any questions you should address with the treating healthcare provider.

Unknown: When i referenced this drug, it appears that in clinical mouse trials the lethal dosage could not be measured because they vomitted up stomach contents before the lethal dosage could be determined.

Metaxalone OD: An overdose of metaxalone can be fatal. The maximum amount for adults is 2400 mg. It can be extremely dangerous when more than the recommended amount is taken. Seek medical attention immediately if you believe that you may have overdosed on metaxalone.
