Lying to doctor: When you go to your physician for the first time, s/he needs to take your whole health and personal history. This includes drug use, because drugs affect your health. Lying to your doctor will make your relationship dishonest, and prevent the doctor from helping you effectively. Perhaps you don't want the doctor to suggest ways of stopping drugs, even if that would be best for your health?
