Ovulating?: Figure out if you are ovulating each month, either by checking your basal body temp each am or using an ovulation prediction kit. Once you confirm that, try having sex every other day starting a couple days before you are supposed to ovulate and continuing for a couple days after. Good luck!

A fertility saga.: Inability to get pregnant as a couple is a complex equation involving many "moving parts". Starting Point: The best place to start is to make sure you are taking a daily vitamin containing folic acid. If you have regular menstrual cycles, the next best thing is to make sure you are having sex around the time of ovulation, roughly in the middle of your cycle. Then, if you are not pregnant, a fertility specialist can always help guide you through any work up!

Still early: Infertility concerns, in the case of a 25 year old, should not be a concern until one is unable to conceive after 12 months of properly timed intercourse. Also be aware that various lubricants (even non spermicidal) can adversely affect sperm preventing conception.

Mid cycle: Most women ovulate around the middle of their cycle (ie day 14 of a 28 day cycle). Ovulation prediction kits or graphs of your basal body temperature can help confirm this. You are most fertile from two days before your ovulation to two days after.
