Urinary tract source: This type of bleeding is called terminal hematuria, because bleeding occurs at the terminal end of voiding. It is usually attributed to problems in the urethra and prostate or sometimes a bladder stone. Any bleeding in the urinary tract should be worked up by a physician. Make an appointment for evaluation to ensure that causes such as infection, stone or cancer are ruled out.
