Pain then gain: Vasectomy is usually done in a urologist's office under local anesthesia and takes about 20 minutes to perform. There is mild discomfort during the procedure and this can last about a week. Overall, relatively non-invasive.

Piece of cake: My vasectomy was done by a well-known urologist who does lots of vasectomies (me!). It's a very easy procedure in experienced hands. It was quick and painless except for the initial Lidocaine for anesthesia. I was a little sore for 3 days, then have felt nothing ever since. Sex is better without the concern about unwanted pregnancy. Rasvas.Com.
