Depends: Do you have any other diseases, -- diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease. Did you take any new prescription/non prescription medication. Did you skip a meal. Ae you coming down with a cold. All of these things can lead to a minor case of lightheadedness. If you have weakness, numbness of an extremity, difficulty speaking, you should be evaluated immediately.
