A member asked:

What are some dangers of toner exposure?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Avoid the dust!: Toner dust may contain cadmium, mercury and lead. Besides irritating the skin, these may be carcinogenic. The company selling these products will advise you on how to safely handle them. Modern cartridges should involve no contact with the contained black dust. If you are at risk of getting dust on your hand, or in your lungs, i would be caution and use gloves and a mask.
