Difficult to know: There are many causes for testicular pain. Most have to do with local trauma (sports, labor, etc). Males in their 30's and early 40's should visit their primary care physician if the testicular pain does not resolve in 2 weeks to make sure there is no suspicion of a lump or cancer.
