Reflux: One of the most common reasons my patients complain of this symptom is acid reflux. A small bit of acid can come up when you lie flat and it causes swelling of the larynx. This causes the feeling that something is stuck in your throat. Avoid -spicy foods, eating late a night, acid foods. Try Prilosec otc for a couple of weeks and if it doesn't get better see an ent.
