A member asked:

I've tried multiple times to get pregnant and i am still not? does it have something to do with previously being on birth control but got off?

No: Birth control pills do not affect future fertility. They do mask what is happening to your natural period. When you stop them your natural cycle usually starts back fairly quickly. Sometimes, there can be changes to your cycle while on birth control pills that are first noticed when you stop the pill. The pill doesn't cause this, you just don't see it because the pill make you get a regular cycle.

No: Contrary to what people think, birth control polls do not lead to infertility. You should get evaluated by a specialist!
