How to care for a hairline fracture?

Splinting/casting..: Depending on where the fracture is, treatment will vary. "hairline fracture" means just a smal crack and the bone itself is pretty much intact. Splinting or casting (removable cast too) for a few wks may help. Foot/ankle fractures tend to take longer because of their weight-bearing nature. Consult doc. Good luck.
