I heard gardasil is only for teens. is this true?

No: Gardasil is approved as a preventive measure for several strains of hpv known to be a factor in cervical cancer and genital warts. Because these viruses are so prevalent (>50% of the population), immunization ideally should occur before any sexual activity. Many insurances are approving this for males and females 9-26. Fine for older ages, but typically sexual activity has already occurred.
