Negative result?: A woman who gets a normal period (appears normal in amount of flow and number of days), and also has a negative pregnancy test at that time, is presumed to be not pregnant. However, life has a way of surprising us, so if a woman is still worried about pregnancy, she can repeat the test 1 week later.
