Seek medical help: If you are bleeding that heavily you need to be seen right away! a good rule of thumb-a pad or more per hour for 2-3 hours, go in. You could become severly anemic and need medical attention. Other symptoms of severe anemia are light headedness, dizziness, short of breath, or rapid heart beat. If you have these go in immediately.
