See below: The skin is the most common site of first presentation with painless firm slightly raised or nodular tumors. They may appear as small bruises. In advanced disease they may coalesce into large plaque like tumor masses typically violaceous in color. At autopsy almost any organ can show involvement. Lesions can become painful and restrict movement. Lymphatic involvement can cause severe edema.
