Denture stains: Dentures build up plaque and tartar just like natural teeth. Be sure to clean them daily. There are special toothpaste just for dentures. Also you may use some of the cleansing tablets that you soak the teeth in overnight. When you go to the dentist for a checkup, have them use their ultrasonic machine to give them a good cleaning.

Denture stains: Soak the dentures every night in water plus denture cleaning tablets. If this doesn't help, ask your dentist if he or she can clean them in an ultrasonic bath. If the dentures are very old, the stains may not come out, and it may be time for new dentures.

Denture stains: Over-the-counter denture cleaners and brushing with a denture brush on a regular basis is the best defense of stains. Beyond that, have your dentist place them in his or her ultrasonic cleaner for you to get most of the stubborn stains.

At dental office: Bring them to your dentist for a professional cleaning when you go for your check-up. Even if you have full dentures you should be checked every 6 months. We check the fit/wear of the dentures, do an oral cancer check, check the tissues for changes/ bone deterioration, take a panoramic x-ray to check on bone levels (@5 yrs, ), and clean your dentures. @home - scrub with toothpaste, soak in cleaner.
