Maybe: You need to see your doctor. Some spotting may occur after examinations or after intercourse. If not associated with either of these, you should be seen to determine if the cevix is dilating prematurely and to check for abnormalities of the placenta. These are the most worrisome things but be assured there are many reasons for some light spotting.
