What is the implication of having densefibre breasts?

Nothing often: Sometimes that condition causes pain, sometimes not, it can make it harder to get a reading when you ahve a mammogram so sometimes you have to get extra tests , but nothing needs to be done if you just have dense breasts and no other problems other than yearly mammos once you are over age 40 or younger if they say to get one in a year.

Dense: breasts lower the sensitivity of mammography for detecting Breast cancer, and are also an independent risk factor for developing breast cancer.
