A member asked:

If i had sex two days ago and just noticed cervical fluid, will i get pregnant? will sperm still be alive?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Very possible: Sperm can stay in the system 72 hours or so. Nobody knows how long they can fertilize. Most feel at least 48hrs. It is less likely if you just saw mucous and had sex 48 hrs before that you would become pregnant but cervical mucous is a crude measure. If you have concerns you should seek medical advice.
