Good question!: Yes...It is possible...Good hand and general hygiene is important to avoid this. Be sure and follow your doc's advice and treatment regimen carefully....Be careful of commonly used items (wash clothes, towels. Toothpaste, razors, etc)also, you need to get rid of all of your make-up to avoid self re-contamination...And, as always, follow-up with your family doc and ophthalmologist.
