Depends: It depends on the type of arthritis you have. Anti inflammatory medications can help reduce pain and inflammation in joints. However disease modify medications may also be needed to treat your arthritis. It is best to get evaluated for a proper diagnosis and treatment options. Combined treatment: Typically an over the counter antiinflammatory and stretching can help. Ice and rest also help with these types of pain. Physical therapy can be implemented if the above do not work.
