Does raynaud's disease get debilitating?

In more severe cases: Raynaud's disease (or syndrome) patients with frequent attacks of vasospasm will be having many symptoms that make it too difficult to work. Raynaud's disease and autoimmune disorder patients with raynaud's phenomenon would not be able to work in jobs with cold temperatures (such as ice cream sales) or vibrations (such as hammer-drilling) if those activities trigger vasospasm.

No: By itself, raynaud's disease is just a group of symptoms: coldness and color changes in the hands and/or feet. It requires a full physical examination and blood screening for a variety of illnesses to determine if there is a known cause for the raynaud's that can be treated. Just raynaud's disease is not disabling if no cause can be found.
