Definitively by scan: Aneurysms come in many different areas and sizes. Some can be found by a good physical exam, but most will be discoverd by plain x-ray (few), ultrasound (many) or ct scan/mri.....Depending where they are located, they may be assymptomatic, or cause symptoms by pressing on nearby structures...
