Bachelorhood : Bachelorhood isn't a contraceptive. If you've missed two periods but haven't engaged in sexual intercourse, you should consult your gyn doctor, depending on your age. If you've just started having periods, this is quite normal. If you've had regular periods for years and now have missed two, see your gyn.
